My name is Sarah Casey and I am a Graphic Designer in the Bellingham Washington area. I chose a graphic design degree because I have always had an eye for shape and color. Even from a young age I played with concepts of color and space on a large scale and in three dimensions. While other kids were finger painting, I was redesigning and painting my entire room - painting walls, experimenting with color pallets and rearranging furniture to really learn and understand order and arrangement.

I also have a passion for music, especially singing, which also played a huge part in developing an appreciation for harmony and balance. Throughout my course work in Visual Communications my eyes have been opened to how graphic design is literally all around us, and that

it impacts how we as a society think, act and live. Looking to the future I am excited about growing in

my love for design and developing further as an artist. 

 

I am a very hands on person who loves to learn new

ways of art like pottery, printmaking, set design and photography. My goal in my career is to help others who cannot easily or effectively express themselves.

I want others to be able to be heard, because that is what design is really about - showing the world through visuals what you want them to see and feel about your business.
